We are very pleased to announce that Frank Crandall will be a presenter at both the Mid-Atlantic Accreditation Course Dec-2-5, 2013 and the Annual Gathering on Dec. 11, 2013 where Frank will present on Creating a More Sustainable Business-Financially and Environmentally.
Frank Crandall: Former
owner of Wood River Evergreens, Inc., an awarding winning landscape design,
construction, and maintenance firm in southern RI. Current owner of Frank
Crandall, Horticultural Solutions, a landscape design, installation and
maintenance firm specializing in sustainable designs, organically maintained
landscapes, and specialty pruning. Additionally, Frank conducts his GEM
Business Seminar, consults with New England horticultural firms, speaks at
various industry venues, chairs the NOFA Educational Committee and has guest
lectured at area colleges including URI, The Landscape Institute (Boston
Architectural College), and North Shore Community College.
In 2011 Frank published his second book: “The
Essential Horticultural Business Handbook” which shares advice, techniques,
forms, and recommendations to assist new small businesses or existing companies
to become more focused, organized, and profitable. His first book, “Lessons from the Landscape...My Path to
Business Success and Personal Fulfillment” was published in 2005. His third
book, “Creating a More Peaceful,
Successful and Happy Life…Today!” was recently published in May, 2013. He
recently began writing a column for GoLocalProv, an online publication in
Providence, RI, titled Landscape
Solutions Now published every other Saturday. Frank was also recently interviewed by Irrigation and Green Industry Magazine for their piece on "Going Green...Growing At a Rapid Pace" featured in their October issue.
After many years of
development Frank released his Estimate Now Program and Business Forms Now
Program to the horticultural industry in February 2013 to assist firms to
become more focused, organized, and profitable.
